Ores are found in the ground throughout the world, and can be refined into ingots in a Furnace to create more advanced tools and buildings. The deeper you go, the better ores you find.
This is typically the first ore encountered by the player, and is used for early age 1 crafting recipes. It is also one of, if not the most abundant metallic ore in the game, and requires at least a stone pickaxe to mine.
Iron ore is the alternate, and slightly better age 1 ore in cardlife. Iron ore requires at least a copper pickaxe to mine It is required to craft a compass.
Gold is the first age 2 ore, and is therefore very important to advance to better equipment. It requires an iron pickaxe or better to mine.
Tungsten is the second age 2 ore, and requires a gold mechanical drill or better to obtain.
Cobalt is the third and final age 2 ore, and requires at least a tungsten mechanical drill to obtain.
Titanium ore is the first age 3 ore, and is therefore very important to advance to better equipment. It requires a Cobalt mecanical drill or better to mine.
Thorium is the second age 3 ore, and is therefore very important to advance to better equipment. It requires a Titanium Jackhammer or better to mine.
Meteorite is the third and final age 3 ore. It requires a Thorium Jackhammer to mine.
Carborundum is the first age 4 ore, but as of the current build can not be smelted in a furnace, nor are there crafting recipes for carborundum or any other ores of higher quality. It requires a Meteorite Jackhammer to mine.
